Direct Marketing Company – Acted as advisor to the Chief Restructuring Officer of a major Canadian direct marketing company.  Our services included assisting in analyzing sale options and assisting the CRO and Monitor in selling the business.

 

Agricultural Processing Company – Acted as Chief Financial Officer of a financially distressed Canadian agriculture processing company.  In this capacity we developed a Cash Management Plan, negotiated extensions to credit agreements, assisted in raising new capital to recapitalize the business and developed a Restructuring Plan.

 

Hog Production Company – Acted as advisor to the board of directors of a major Canadian hog production company.  Our services included assisting in analyzing various restructuring options and managed financial stakeholders (including their banking syndicate and several private equity funds).  The Company elected to avail itself of the CCAA protection and we managed this process to a successful exit.

 

Forest Products Company – Acted as Chief Restructuring Officer of a financially distressed Canadian forestry company specializing in niche products.  In this capacity we developed a Cash Management Plan, negotiated extensions to credit agreements and developed a Restructuring Plan.

 

Property Development Company – Acted as Chief Executive Officer of a financially distressed property development company.   This included restructuring operations, negotiating long-term bank facilities and raising additional equity.

 

Metal Fabrication Company – Acted as Chief Executive Officer of a financially distressed metal fabrication company.  This included restructuring operations and subsequently divesting product lines to strategic purchasers.  In addition, worked with lenders to arrange extensions to loan agreements and subsequently returned capital to lenders.

 

Special Processing Company – Acted as Chief Executive Officer of a financially distressed Special Crop processing plant.  This involved restructuring operations, negotiating extensions to credit agreements and raising additional equity.

 

Building Materials Manufacturing Company – Acted as advisor to senior management of a regional building materials manufacturer and wholesaler.  In this capacity we arranged extensions to credit agreements and assisted in the development of a Restructuring Plan.
